Hesed Words

How to Follow

Receive each new reflection without accounts, algorithms, or noise.

New reflections appear here most mornings. If you would like them to come to you — rather than remembering to check back — the site publishes a feed that a small, free app can watch on your behalf. Whenever something new is posted, it simply appears in the app, like a quiet letterbox.

This is called RSS. It is older than social media and better behaved: no account to create, no company deciding what you see, nothing counting your clicks. You subscribe, and new pieces arrive. That is all it does.

Set it up once — three steps

  1. Choose a reader app. Any of these are free and work well: Feedly (web, phone), NetNewsWire (iPhone, iPad, Mac), or Inoreader (web, phone).
  2. Add this address wherever the app says Add feed, Follow, or +:
    https://hesedwords.com/feed.xml
  3. That’s it. New reflections will appear in the app as they are published, with a short summary and a link to read the full piece here.

In many apps you can skip step two: search for “hesedwords.com” inside the app and it will find the feed itself.

If you get stuck

Every reader app looks slightly different, but they all want the same thing: that one address above. If it isn’t working, write to me and I’ll gladly help you set it up.
